From February to August, the period commonly referred to as the Birds Nesting Season is observed. During this time, it is imperative to refrain from cutting or trimming hedges, hedge rows, and bushes, as such actions may disturb the birds from their nesting activities. It is now a legal requirement, and only with specific permission, under certain circumstances, is cutting permitted.
Twon's Gardening will undertake hedge and large bush cutting from September to the end of January to provide birds with the opportunity to continue their lives without interference.
So Carefully check your hedges not to disturb the birds if you have any nesting
